Campaign „ Rucksack full of smiles”
The main aim of the campaign „ Rucksack full of smiles” is too enhance educational possibilities available for pupils through collecting money for purchase and equipping about eight thousand school subsidies dedicated for the poorest children and youngsters in Poland.
Rucksack full of smiles is an action organized regularly by Caritas Poland and it counterparts located dioceses. The mechanism of the initiative is simple Caritas hands down empty rucksack to parishioners . As a result of this action they become donors who fill rucksacks with stationaries. Before first bell rings the school subsidies will be given to pupils of the vulnerable families living in particular communities. The idea is by no doubt worth to support as each year it gains new supporters to the children delight.
The Princes Lubomirski Foundation had an opportunity to become engaged to this initiative for the first time. The scope of activity concerning education is at the heart of our activity as we cooperate closely with University of Economics in Krakow, we grant scholarships to students coming from former Borderland of the Republic of Poland and annually award three pupils from Primary School in Kamieniec which achieve best results as a scholarship of Prince Lubomirski Foundation
